Actalent’s Vancouver Services Delivery Center Earns ISO Certifications

Certifications reinforce Actalent’s commitment to exceptional quality, client success and continuous improvement

Vancouver, BC, Canada (April 15, 2024) – Actalent, a leading engineering and sciences services and talent solutions company, today announced that its services delivery center in Vancouver, British Columbia has successfully completed ISO-9001:2015 and ISO-27001:2013 certifications. The certifications, which are developed and issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), demonstrate Actalent’s adherence to universally recognized global standards in quality management systems (QMS) and information security. The Vancouver center was presented with its ISO certificates on November 27, 2023.

ISO-9001 is the world’s best-known international standard for quality management systems. Adherence to the ISO-9001 standard is intended to foster more effective teams and higher levels of client satisfaction through ensuring consistent and high-quality services. The certification is based on several quality management principles, including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, and continuous improvement.

Adherence to the ISO 27001 information security management standard ensures Actalent employs best-in-class standards when managing the security of assets including financial information, intellectual property, employee and client data, and information held by third parties.

Actalent’s engineering and sciences services give clients access to specialized experts with the ability to design and execute projects across a range of capabilities—from managing teams or outsourced functions to owning and delivering on complex project outcomes. With 12 delivery centers across North America and four in India, Actalent’s services teams have expertise in transmission and distribution, grid automation, systems and software, mechanical, electrical and manufacturing engineering, clinical and laboratory services, and project management.

The recent certifications earned by Actalent’s Vancouver center add to existing ISO certifications, including ISO:13485:2016 and AS9100D, maintained by several of Actalent’s services delivery locations in the United States, Canada and India.
