Peter DeSanto

Chemical Engineer

Peter is a chemical engineer within Actalent’s Scientific Support Services. He began his career as a research engineer developing high‑throughput platforms for specialty chemical formulation and testing, followed by 15 years as a materials characterization scientist and laboratory manager. His expertise spans laboratory, facilities and project management, with a strong focus on developing analytical solutions for materials characterization, reverse engineering and regulatory compliance. Peter partners with clients to align Actalent’s technical capabilities with their needs and deliver customized solutions that drive their success. He is also certified by PMI as a Project Management Professional.

Peter holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Delaware.
