Specialization Lead – Laboratory Sciences

Michael Raymond is a specialization lead for Actalent’s Laboratory Sciences. With more than 20 years of experience supporting the life sciences industry, he helps pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and other highly regulated organizations build the scientific, quality and compliance teams needed to maintain operational excellence and navigate evolving regulatory expectations.

Throughout his career, Michael has focused on the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. He began with two years of onsite recruiting support for a global pharmaceutical manufacturer during a significant FDA remediation initiative. Over the past two decades, he has partnered with dozens of organizations to build and strengthen quality, compliance, manufacturing and technical operations teams. His experience includes supporting multiple multiyear FDA remediation and quality transformation efforts, as well as developing proactive workforce strategies designed to help organizations maintain inspection readiness, support growth and reduce compliance risk.

Michael has been recognized for delivering strong client and consultant outcomes, earning numerous performance and business impact awards. He has also helped lead teams recognized through ClearlyRated's Best of Staffing and World-Class Staffing honors. Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters and is an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan.
