Ryan Cross

Ryan Cross, PE, is Director of Actalent's Global Transmission, Distribution and Grid Automation Services. He has more than 25 years of experience designing and leading projects for electric utilities. Projects included substations, protection and controls, distribution (overhead and underground) and transmission (overhead and underground). Voltages range from 4.16 kV to 345 kV. His areas of expertise include substation design, underground transmission line, FAC-008 site inspections, project management and NERC compliance.

Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University. He is a licensed professional engineer in more than 10 states. He is a senior member of the IEEE — Power Engineering Society and a member of both the National Society of Professional Engineers and the Missouri Society of Professional Engineers.
